A record made to be broken:

A long standing record of nearly 50 years has been finally broken.

Graeme smith and Nei Mckenzie have surpassed the highest parternship of 413 runs which was previously held by the pair of Pankaj roy and Vinoo Mankad.

It was a disappointing first day for the bangladesh players with no wickets on the first day of the test with only the run meter running.the 400 mark was crossed in the first day itself,with the bangladesh bowlers ocassionally straying away from the line.It was a day to remamber and the second day saw the record being broken.However within a run of breaking the record,Smith was bowled when the partnership stand of 415 had created history.
